Born as Shanthakumaran Sreesanth [S. Sreesanth] is a right arm, fast medium Indian bowler mainly known for yorkers and his ball swings. He is a former Indian cricketer with a hidden talent of break dancing.
Initially, he was a leg-spinner, but he switched to fast bowling. Sreesanth came into limelight after taking a hattrick in Ranji Trophy game.
Later, he got then selected for the Challenger trophy in 2005. S. Sreesanth performed excellently well in the tournament and even earned the Man of the Series award. He then grabbed the opportunity to play in International games. The latest news suggests that he will be seen next as a participant in Salman Khan’s show Bigg Boss 12.
Early Life and Career
Sreesanth, when started cricket, was a leg-spinner, but his habit of throwing Yorkers converted him into a fast bowler. He initially got selected to the National Cricket Academy in 2000. Later he made his debut against Goa in the domestic season and took 22 wickets in 7 matches in Ranji Trophy. He was also called as Prince of Hat-tricks by his fellow mates because of his bowling tactics.
Sreesanth made his International debut against England in 2005. Following this, he was selected for other matches and as expected he played brilliantly well and also earned several awards. By the time, he was doing well as a cricketer he came into limelight when he was slapped by Harbhajan Singh. Later, he said the he had no complaints against him and he is like an elder brother to him.
Later, he was arrested on charges of spot-fixing in IPL 6 (2013) while playing for Rajasthan Royals and got suspended by BCCI. It was in October 2017 Kerala High restored his life ban.
Recently, the makers have unveiled a new contestant for Bigg Boss 12. The promo doesn’t reveal the name, but it is speculated that video features Indian cricketer S. Sreesanth.

S. Sreesanth in Bigg Boss 12
It is confirmed that Indian cricketer S. Sreesanth is to be the part of India’s most controversial reality show Bigg Boss 12. This is not the first time he would be seen in a reality show. Earlier, he participated in the dance reality show “Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa” and even participated in Rohit Shetty’s “Khatron Ke Khiladi”. This time Bigg Boss 12 will introduce the contestants in Jodis.
