About Bigg Boss Season 20 (BB20) Colors TV & JioHotstar Show :- The landmark 20th season of India’s biggest and most sensational reality television show, Bigg Boss 20, officially premiered on Sunday, 6th September 2026. Adapted from the global reality franchise Big Brother, the Hindi edition of Bigg Boss has evolved into a nationwide cultural phenomenon over two decades of high-octane drama, unscripted emotions, and intense rivalry.
For Season 20, the show has embraced an ambitious theme titled “Vardaan” (The Boon). In a game-changing twist unveiled during the grand premiere, the makers introduced the revolutionary “Extra Jeevan Daan” (also dubbed the Tathas-two concept). This game mechanic gives contestants a rare lifeline to reverse evictions, setting the stage for an unpredictable battle of strategy, survival, and alliances.
