“Appy Fizz” Brand confirmed to Sponsor the Season 10 of Bigg Boss

The tenth season of the famous reality television show “Bigg Boss” is literally round the corner and people have been very anxiously waiting for the launch of the show. It has already been confirmed by the channel that the show will hit the television screens from the month of October.

This year, the show will be sponsored by Parle Agro’s carbonated Apple juice brand named “Appy Fizz” as the main sponsor of the show. It has also been revealed that Appy Fizz will be paying a whooping amount of approximately 44 crore Indian rupees to the channel. This also means that the channel has ended its two years association with the famous online service “Snapdeal“.

Having said that, it has also been confirmed that just like previous two seasons, OPPO smart phone, a Chinese mobile brand and Maruti Suzuki Limited will continue their association with the channel as co-sponsors. Each of the companies will be paying an amount ranging between 20 to 25 crore Indian rupees.

What this confirms is that there has been an average increase of about 5 to 7% in the sponsorship fees this year. This also indirectly leads us to the fact that the participants will also be paid somewhat more than the participants of the previous seasons.


Estimates tell us that the total cost of the project has been approximated to be as 150 crore Indian rupees which makes it one of the most expensive shows in the history of Indian television. The show has been scheduled to last for 105 days, which makes it around three and a half months.

With that sort of investment in the show, we can just hope that the producers of the show as well as the channel are able to fetch good profits so that they can come back to invest in the subsequent season of the show next year.
