Early Life

Born in a middle-class family, Sapna lost her father when she was just 12 years old. Just from the childhood, she was much passionate about dance and other cultural activities. After her father’s death, she started supporting her family. Sapna started earning money by dancing and singing in high and low-class parties.

She also dreamt of performing in the movies. It was also reported that Sapna acted in movie ‘Rummer’, but the official confirmation about this news is still a mystery.

Fame

She has performed in a number of parties in Delhi and Haryana. Slowly and steadily Sapna Choudhary bagged her name in other different states too. Mostly she appears and even performs in Salwar-Kameez with her dupatta fixed with her dress.  She became an instant superstar after her first song Solid Body.

Controversy and Suicide

Sapna has been titled as ‘vulgar’ but this bold and young diva refuses vulgar tag and claims if she is vulgar then all Bollywood actresses who perform on item songs are vulgar too.

It was last year when Sapna Chaudhary attempted suicide by consuming rat poison. Sapna Chaudhary was much depressed as two cases were registered against her for impairing the feelings and emotions of a Dalit community during her performance in 2016.

She had accused Satpal Tanwar of running an online campaign against her, and this was the major reason for her suicide attempt.
