MTV Roadies is a very famous youth based reality television show, which started airing on MTV India, back in 2003. This show has been a great success and has given the Indian television and film industry some rising stars such as Ranvijay Singh, Ayushmann Khurrana, Ashutosh Kaushik, and Prince Narula. Ranvijay Singh has hosted 11 seasons of the show and has become an extremely popular figure among the youth.
MTV ROADIES X4 – SEASON 13
Roadies X4 – Season 13 hit the television screens on February 20, 2016. The season is still in its auditions stage and the judges of the show are still busy in forming their respective gangs. In this season, the judges consist of Ranvijay Singh, Karan Kundra, Sushil Kumar and Neha Dhupia. The current season is being hosted by Gaelyn Mendonca who is doing a pretty decent job.
According to the format of the show, the contestants are first asked to fill in a form which is then followed by a group discussion. The form is not a simple one, in fact, it has been designed in such a way that it reveals the personality of the contestant.
After participating in the group discussion, the candidates are short listed and are then sent in front of the judges for the personal interview round. There, depending on the judges, candidates may be asked to show their physical strength or sometimes they could be asked to entertain the audience.
Various seasons of the show have gone to various countries across the globe such as Kenya, Brazil, Australia, USA, Thailand, Nepal, and Malaysia.
The winner of the last season of this reality television show was Prince Narula, who also went on to win the “Bigg Boss Season 9″ later on. The auditions of the current season have been extremely interesting so far. However, we will have to wait and see how the season sets in once the auditions stage will be over.
